— Employees of a Wendy's in San Marcos went on strike after a co-worker fainted because of a malfunctioning air conditioner, which hadn’t been fixed for several months.
— Hops & Grain is looking to expand into San Marcos with a brewery and taproom, all run by wind energy, reported Austin 360. There is no specific location pegged down, but it will be partially funded through crowfunding investment site Wefunder. (Vigilante, the forthcoming board gaming bar, is looking to raise additional funds through a similar campaign.)
