— Torchy’s Tacos launched a traveling taco truck, decked out with the chain's devil mascot and "Damn Good" signage.

— Writer and Southern Foodways Alliance director John T. Edge hung out in Austin this weekend, visiting Olamaie, Ego’s, Garage, Small Victory, and Freedmen’s.

— Cheer Up Charlies introduced boozy popsicles, dubbed poptails, this weekend, with refreshing flavors like Texas Shandy, Michelada, and cucumber agua frescas. Even better: there are mini versions available, too.

— South Congress Hotel’s hidden-bar Watertrade, originally available just for Otoko guests, is now taking reservations from the public for 8 and 8:30 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday.

— Michi Ramen's noodles are now completely egg-less.

— Sweets fans can make P. Terry's peach shakes, Lick Ice Creams sandwiches, and Hopdoddy Burger Bar's shakes at home with recipes from Tribeza.

— Food Republic discovers Detroit-stle pizza and includes Via 313 in its guide.
