Two Exciting New Austin Brunches To Try This Weekend

Get ready for brunch by checking out Austin’s two brand new options this weekend. First up, Chicon is dishing out a comfort-filled brunch. Then, look out for mid-morning pizzas from Pizzeria Vetri. There are also 13 other brunches to check out, if you so choose.

EAST SIXTH — Contigo’s revamp of Gardner, Chicon, launches Sunday brunch on May 15. For pastries, expect to find pretzel doughnuts, expect to find toasts like The Elvis (topped with bananas, peanut butter, bananas soaked in bourbon, whipped coconut cream, and pork belly), hot chicken, brunch cocktails, and other sweet and savory options. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

CAMPUS — Morning-perfect pizzas can be found with Pizzeria Vetri’s brunch coming out this weekend. The egg-filled pies including one with scrambled eggs, and the post-drinking cure with the Hangover Hash, full of potatoes, pepperoni, sausage, and asparagus. Mimosas will be served for $5. Everything will be available from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. While brunch will be held only on Sunday, May 15 this weekend, going forward, it will expand to Saturdays as well.
