— Relatedly, Chronicle dove into why the Austin Police Department erected wide barricades in the middle of Dirty Sixth during SXSW, leaving less space for the crowds.

— Both locations of Michi Ramen will now open on Mondays starting on April 11.

— Supreme Court of the United States Justice Clarence Thomas enjoyed a meal at Stiles Switch BBQ & Brew with Supreme Court of Texas Justice Don Willett last night.

— Salt & Time was included in Bon Appetit’s list of favorite butcher shops, because of its restaurant component.

— East Side King Thai Kun's Thai Changthong is the next Austin Food & Wine Festival chef spotlighted in Texas Monthly this week. He talked about his Thailand childhood and his favorite Thai restaurants (Thai Passion, Titaya's).
