Snooze, the Colorado-based brunch-loving restaurant chain, is pulling a switcheroo. It will open the South Lamar location by the end of May instead of the North Lamar site, which was originally supposed to debut first next month.
The reasons for the delays are because of "a number of factors and unforeseen events, natural and man-made," according to an email from a rep. There is no new date set for the Rosedale restaurant.
Initially, the brunch haven aimed to open on North Lamar on May 4, after nixing March and April debuts, with the South Lamar location following later that summer, which isn’t the case anymore. This will be the first and second locations in Texas, with a third planned for Houston, too.
Once open, Snooze's menu will span all brunch favorites, from pancakes, eggs benedicts, Bloody Marys, mimosas, and much more. Local ingredients from Vital Farms, Good Flow Honey, Dripping Springs Vodka, and other food and drink vendors will be used.
