Gearing up for the Round Rock Express opening home game this week, Greenhouse Craft Food unveiled its baseball menu at the Dell Diamond’s Intel Club. The minor league team’s first Round Rock game is on Friday, April 15, against the Iowa Cubs.
The locally sourced menu was formulated by Greenhouse owner and chef Rob Snow and chef de cuisine Todd Engel. The two will create a "Road Team Special" for every home game, consisting of a changing dish based on the visiting team’s home region. The rest of the food lineup includes the duo's takes on expected sports fare. There are sweet potato fries brimming with pulled pork, chiles, chipotle cream, and cheese, ribs, and nachos with the works (including onion bacon jam). Take a look at the full menu further below.
Ryan Sanders Sports Services, which operates the stadium's food and beverage services, built an on-site garden for vegetables and herbs at the stadium for the restaurant’s dishes and cocktails, like lavender, basil, tomatoes, and cucumbers.
Alas, Greenhouse’s stadium menu will only be available to members of the Intel Club. Interested parties can enroll by buying season passes or pay an additional fee for single games. Jack Allen’s Kitchen held this position in 2014.
