Valentina’s Tex Mex BBQ and sibling trailer Violet Taco are looking to raise funds to help pay for manager Adrianna Vidal’s medical bills, who is also owner Miguel’s sister. Late on Friday night, March 25, Adrianna and a friend were struck and pinned by a parked car, which was hit by a drunk driver on West 7th Street, who then immediately sped off. "I just remember standing in the back of my friend's car and a car ramming us," she told KEYE. The police eventually caught the suspect thanks to a witness who took a photograph of the license plate.

Adrianna required knee surgery immediately after the accident. She can’t work for the time being while she recovers. Miguel and sister Modesty are currently asking for donations through GoFundMe to pay her medical bills, which are over $50,000 at this point. So far, over $1,000 has been raised. Any help is appreciated.>
