A new outdoor patio bar is coming to West 6th Street with Green Light Social right above Benji’s Cantina. The bar, which is described as an "organic Austin patio bar" according to the Facebook page, will serve cocktails and beer. It is set to open sometime soon, with a grand opening date expected to be announced this month.

Helming the project is Redrum Bar, LLC, which includes Robert Drummond, Caleb Kilborn, and Ian Fletcher. The company raised $1.2 million last fall. The TABC license was approved this month. Austin-based design studio Nox Creative drafted the bar’s cursive logos.

Also on West 6th Street: ELM Group’s French restaurant Arro shuttered and gave way to Parlor and Yard, run by Bridget Dunlap. ELM is nevertheless opening a new restaurant nearby, Irene’s. The Goodnight is bringing a second location of the bowling alley to the Miller Blueprint building.
