Italic, the Italian restaurant from ELM Restaurant Group, is tacking on Sunday brunch starting on March 20, just in time to recover after SXSW. For the family-style meal, there is the easy spread of meats, cheese, bread, and pastries, or frittata served with polenta, regu, potatoes, and ending with gelato. Wine carafes can be added, too.

Other morning meal dishes include French toast, breakfast risotto, egg sandwiches, and lamb hash. Plus other regular items like pizza, salads, and pasta are available. Brunch hours are from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., every Sunday. Happy hour follows immediately.

Next up for ELM is Irene’s, the casual New American eatery with a dive bar feel near West 6th Street with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks including punches. There are also expansions of bakery and beer garden Easy Tiger to look forward to later this summer in north Austin and next year as part of downtown food hall Fareground. The group opened Italic last spring.
