The last piece of the South Congress Hotel puzzle, coffee and juice bar Mañana, opens tomorrow, Tuesday, March 15. The cafe features the housemade juice and milk program, made with seasonal vegetables and juices.
Coffee from Cuvee will be used, along with tea and baked goods like croissants, tarts, macarons, and more. South Congress’ executive chef Michael Paley and executive pastry chef Amanda Rockman are overseeing the kitchen. The cafe features wifi, bar seating, communal table, plus access to the outdoor courtyard. Hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
Paul Qui unveiled his hotly anticipated intimate sushi counter restaurant within the hotel this month with chef Yoshi Okai. This was accompanied with previously unannounced secret bar Watertrade. South Congress Hotel opened last fall with the debut of Cafe No Se, the all-day California inspired kitchen. That was followed by grill and seafood restaurant Central Standard, featuring wood-fired ovens and raw bar.
