Austin Beerworks, ever the brewery to keep things fun, is unleashing a limited beer befitting for Austin, decked out with tacos and beer. The Festbier will be available during the length of SXSW, from Friday, March 11 through Sunday, March 20, at various downtown bars.
The 16 ounce tallboy can was designed with local studio Helms Workshop. The light-bodied lager is meant to go "great with breakfast tacos, lunch tacos, dinner tacos, and any music you might hear in between," according to the release, which describes Austin all the time.
The brewery released the party-ready massive 99-can pack of Peacemaker Anytime Ale in summer of 2014. Originally, it was created as a joke, but soon became reality, all for just $99. It sold so well that Austin Beerworks brought it back later that fall.
