Via 313’s quickly turned shuttered Blackbird and Henry into its second brick and mortar pizzeria, opening on Friday, March 4. Doors will open at 5 p.m. Co-owners and brothers Brandon and Zane Hunt took over the space shortly after chef Marc Schmidt closed down the neighborhood restaurant and pub last fall.
The new location will dole out Via's signature Detroit-style pizza and presumably bar pies, along with beer, salads, desserts, and of course Faygo pop.
This is Via's second physical restaurant, including the first in Oak Hill, which opened last April. There are also two trailers along East 6th Street, one at Violet Crown, and the other in Craft Pride.
