It’s time again to look ahead to the new restaurants coming to Austin, including healthy American fare, Mediterranean, and many northward expansions
Burnet Road
Beloved South First-area French pastry shop La Patisserie is expanding to the north to 7301 Burnet Road. The new location will offer Soraiya Nagree’s signature macarons in flavors like salted caramel and cardamom honey orange. Look for an expanded coffee program and the ever-popular CroBrio (croissant-brioche mashup) at the new location. No opening date has been announced; watch La Patisserie’s Facebook page for updates.

Nate’s is the latest project from Josh Bumb and Richard Veregge, the team behind Moontower Saloon.
