Austin’s pho scene is getting bigger with PhoNatic’s expansion and a brand new Vietnamese spot Pho Please. PhoNatic, the local Austin Vietnamese chain, opened its fifth location up in the burgeoning neighborhood Mueller yesterday. The new spot offers the same menu of pho, bowls, smoothies, and more. Signature dishes include the special banh mi sliders and rich filet mignon pho.

Then there is Pho Please, which debuted on January 22 on East Riverside. Boasting of "clean eats," the pho comes in beef or chicken, plus banh mi and bao and a separate vegetarian section. The loaded Pho Meat Lover comes with rare steak and meatballs. Owner Tien Do previously worked for PhoNatic.
