Parlor & Yard, Bridget Dunlap’s quick takeover of suddenly shuttered casual French restaurant Arro, is now open. CultureMap took a peek of the throwback relaxed sports lounge,  which will fit in with the West 5th Street barscape. Scattered everywhere are games of all sorts: board games, dartboards, tabletop contraptions like Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots. For now, only drinks are available: cocktails, tapped and canned beers. The bar menu, with "elevated bar snacks," and brunch buffet are in the works.

Take a look below at the changes the bar made to the restaurant. This includes painting over the the colorful festival mural on the side of the building, the transformation of the enclosed garden patio into a game room with shuffleboard and foosball, and the addition of ping pong tables outside.

The updated bar will be will be open from 4 to 2 a.m. Monday through Friday, and from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. on the weekends. Dunlap is also transforming Mettle, 2016's first closure, into Ophelia, with Cajun truck Baton Creole, opening next week.
