Graceland Grocery, the omnibus convenience store, gas station, restaurant, and bar, is now open at the intersection of Highway 290 and Circle Drive. Despite a pending brand-confusion lawsuit, the on-site restaurant offers a full menu of Stubb’s BBQ, including meat by the pound, sandwiches, sides, and desserts.
Brought to you by FBR, the team behind Mean Eyed Cat and the rescue of Lala's Little Nugget, Graceland Grocery offers one-stop shopping for families and travelers seeking a relaxed evening out or portable snacks and beverages to go, including an espresso bar. A fully equipped outdoor bar supplies liquid refreshments in the form of craft cocktails and draft beers. Other outdoor features on the three-acre plot include two playscapes, a volleyball court, and cornhole. A dog park will follow later this year. The convenience store sells local coffee and wines, as well as breakfast tacos from Stubb’s alongside standard convenience store fare.
Graceland is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, and the outdoor bar offers happy hour from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday (just the ticket to assuage those traffic bottleneck blues), with $3.50 off draft beers.
