SXSW is adding on a third special dinner with Paul Qui for SouthBites, this time with DC chef José Andrés on Tuesday, March 15 at 6 p.m. He will be joined by Los Angeles chefs Michael Voltaggio (ink. restaurant), Holly Jivin (The Bazaar), and Adam Cole (Maple Block Meat Co.), Qui’s Jorge Luis Hernández, and Aitor Lozano, Ruben Garcia, and Andrew Nelson from Andrés’ his restaurant group ThinkFoodGroup. The $225 ticket, benefitting the Austin Food and Wine Alliance, will be open to non-badgeholders after badgeholders get first dibs.
Andrés is also speaking during SXSW SouthBites about his fast casual sensation Beefsteak and the proliferation of similar concepts on Monday, March 14. Past and present chefs from ThinkFoodGroup will cook up his favorite dishes, too.
