José Andrés Gets Ready to Cook Up SXSW SouthBites Dinner At Qui

Now open to non-badgeholders.

SXSW is adding on a third special dinner with Paul Qui for SouthBitesthis time with DC chef José Andrés on Tuesday, March 15 at 6 p.m. He will be joined by Los Angeles chefs Michael Voltaggio (ink. restaurant), Holly Jivin (The Bazaar), and Adam Cole (Maple Block Meat Co.), Qui’s Jorge Luis Hernández, and Aitor Lozano, Ruben Garcia, and Andrew Nelson from Andrés’ his restaurant group ThinkFoodGroup. The $225 ticket, benefitting the Austin Food and Wine Alliance, will be open to non-badgeholders after badgeholders get first dibs.

Andrés is also speaking during SXSW SouthBites about his fast casual sensation Beefsteak and the proliferation of similar concepts on Monday, March 14. Past and present chefs from ThinkFoodGroup will cook up his favorite dishes, too.

Qui will also host two dinners with Cosme's Enrique Olvera, Trois Mec's Ludo Lefebvre, and Empellon's Alex Stupak. Sales for these two dinners are now also open to non-badgeholders, as well.

Other SXSW speakers include Danny Meyer, Anthony Bourdain, Andrew Zimmern, and local panelists like Tyson Cole, Michael Fojtasek, Tatsu Aikawa, Alexis Chong, and others. Get ready for SXSW SouthBites from Saturday, March 12 through Monday, March 14.
