1) Jack & Ginger's at Rock Rose — The Domain's burgeoning entertainment district now includes an Irish bar. Sip whiskey or slug a cold beer from among 82 choices on tap while watching soccer (or "football" if you're feeling authentic) and enjoying burgers, fish and chips, and other bar fare. It officially opened as of January 28.

3) Mission Dogs on East Cesar Chavez — The food cart offering bacon-wrapped hot dogs topped with Asian-influenced condiments outside late-night haunts like The Brixton has quietly opened a tiny brick-and-mortar at 1701 East Cesar Chavez. Check the Facebook page for periodic updates on operating hours.

4 & 5) Pho Please and PhoNatic — Pho fans have two more places to slurp beef, noodles, and aromatic broth with the openings of Pho Please and the Mueller PhoNatic.
