Sway Launches Weekend Brunch With Thai Basil Waffles and Mussel Omelettes

Sway, the modern Thai restaurant, is tacking on brunch to its lineup starting this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, February 13 and 14. Diners can look out for dishes like Thai basil waffles with chicken wing lollipops, brioche French toast, and mapow biscuits, all made mid-morning appropriate with plenty of eggs. Scope out the full menu, designed by executive chef Martin Wilda, below. Hours will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sway is expanding with two new locations this year. First up in the Rock Rose district in the Domain, which will join Thai Changthong and Paul Qui's Thai-centric East Side King Thai Kun, and a third out in West Lake Hills along Bee Caves Road. The restaurants are overseen by New Waterloo. The hospitality group also runs La Condesa, South Congress Hotel (including Qui's Otoko), Hotel Ella, and others.

softshell crab: crispy egg, lemon confit, green nahm jihm, thai gribiche
s + p prawn sandwich: ginger sauce, serrano, carrot, daikon, baguette
Thai basil waffle and chicken: chicken wing lollipop, pickled fresno, green nahm jihm, maple-lemon butter, togarashi
spinach + chive dumpling: live oil jam, chili vinegar, beet chip, sweet soy sauce, corn + scallion salad
brioche french toast: local honey foam, spiced poached pear, candied cashew, condensed milk custard
mapow biscuit + gravy: goat cheese-thai herb biscuit, minced pork gravy, bacon powder, egg, crispy basil leaf
