East Side Pies has had a long and rough month: people have been harassing and vandalizing the Austin pizzeria with false accusations that is supposedly involved with the same child prostitution ring as DC’s Comet Ping Pong (which, again, is not real), as reported by Statesman.
In response to this, Eastside co-owner Noah Polk decided to add an anti-bullying special to all three of East Side’s menus. Customers will be able to add a dollar to their orders, which will go towards nonprofit Creative Action promoting after-school programs for students in Austin.
New York pizza spot Roberta's is undergoing a similar situation, facing death threats so severe that the police have even gotten involved.
The Austin Police Department is currently investigating a possible suspect as of this morning.
