Home brewers Chris Rauschuber and Whitney Roberts found the perfect home for The Brewtorium, the couple’s brewery and beer garden project. Find it near the Highland redevelopment on Dillard Circle.

Food will be made in-house, spotlighting pub fare to go along with its German-style beers. This'll mean pizza, pretzel buns with beer brats pretzel buns, salads, cheese, meats, and snacks.

The massive space will include various seating arrangements, views into the brewery proper, two event areas, and a beer garden. Other details that the couple are excited about include a large parking lot, changing tables in the restrooms (making it kid-friendly), bike parking and flat tire repair stations (bike-friendly), and proximity to the Highland Metro Rail station (commuter-friendly).

Working on Brewtorium’s designs are construction manager Steve Simon and interior designer Lilianne Steckel. Simon worked on ABGB and St. Elmo Brewing Co. and Steckel designed Thunderbird Cafe, Isla, and Argus Cidery.

Construction is slated to begin in 2017, with a projected opening sometime that summer.
