The Townsend knows that the perfect way to waste time while anxiously waiting for the election results is through cocktails. With that in mind, the bar whipped up a special cocktail menu which acts as a colorful commentary on the whole seemingly never-ending political cycle.

The drinking lineup includes the the Protest Vote for zero dollars, a $17 Long Island Iced Tea titled “A Tremendous Cocktail, Really Great, The Best Really. Huge,” an Old Fashioned made with what it deems as bourbon that is "not very exciting" and a shot of "hot garbage juice.” The bar is also airing the election results, which begin tonight.

This isn’t the first time the cocktail bar weighed in on politics. For the Texas Primary back in March, Townsend concocted drinks that served as its rundown of the then-potential presidential nominees. from the very pricy Jeb! ($157,600,000) to the Ben Carson (milk and Ambien).

Join us tonight for live special coverage of the sweet, merciful conclusion of the 2016 Presidential Election.
