— Peek around Alamo Drafthouse's Mueller plywood, which will include a big patio, many theaters, and a bar. It's set to open early next year.

— Speaking of cinemas, the Bullock Museum unveiled its renovated IMAX theater, which features an upgraded concessions stand.

— Lavaca Street Bar and accompanying Turf N Surf opened on South Lamar this week. This is the bar’s third location in Austin. It took over World of Beer’s shuttered spot.
