Bufalina Due, the acclaimed Neapolitan pizzeria’s second location, is getting into the lunch game this week. It begins on Saturday, November 5 at 11 a.m. Aside from pizza (of course), the midday menu will include salads, such as a roasted vegetable and farro one, and sandwiches, like the Italian combo and meatball subs.

Going forward, lunch hours are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., which is when dinner begins, from Wednesday through Sunday. Since this will basically consistent as pizza brunch on the weekends, maybe the restaurant will pull out those wood-fired bagels it experimented with during a spring pop-up.

Fans of Bufalina, the original pizza spot on East Cesar Chavez, will have to wait to make those lunch plans early next year.

Owner Steven Dilley (and Eater Young Gun, class of 2014) left the financial world in 2010 to make his pizza dreams come true with Bufalina in 2013. He followed that with a larger second location up in Brentwood earlier this January.
