On Wednesday, November 16 at 8 p.m., Eater will present the 2016 Eater Awards, our seventh annual celebration of all that's made the restaurant world run — and run wild — in the past 12 months. Winners will be selected on both the local and national levels in five major categories, and the voting begins right now. The polls are now closed for restaurant of the year, chef of the year, design, and today, we focus on the final category: food trucks and trailers. What is Austin’s Best Food Truck? Decide in the polls below.

Your nominee briefer: Abo Youssef serves up Mediterranean fare like shawarma and baklava on Manor Road, Dee Dee focuses on Northern Thai over on East Cesar Chavez, Thai-style rolled ice cream's being made over at Holla Mode on Barton Springs, Paperboy obsesses over breakfast and brunch on East 11th Street, and Valentina’s Tex Mex BBQ branched off into a dedicated taco trailer Violet Taco on West 6th Street.

This is how voting works: Eater editors have named nominees in Austin for each of five major categories. This year, we’ve changed things up. Editors will pick winners from the nominees, and readers will vote to award one nominee in each category with a readers’ choice award. Ready to play your part? This poll will be open for 24 hours; voting irregularities will be strictly policed.

Stay tuned on Wednesday, November 16, promptly at 8 p.m. CST, when all of the winners, both editor’s picks and readers’ choice, will be announced right here on the site.
