Jackalope, one of Dirty Sixth’s mainstay dives, expanded with a second location across the river off East Riverside. Dubbed Jackalope South Shore, it debuted to the public on Tuesday, October 4, with a new version of the iconic giant jackalope in tow with a "glamping" twist, designed by Blue Genie Art.
While the space is still "a work in progress," according to owner Jason Burton, there are still many drinks to be had. There are draft cocktails, including a take on the Pimm’s Cup, regular mixed drinks (and a seasonal frozen option), alongside alongside beer, and wine, and Mighty Swell's canned drinks. Scope out the full offerings below.
The new Jackalope includes an outdoor yard with a playground-type area and patio. The kitchen is currently under construction. While that’s being worked on, the downtown location is preparing a special picnic menu available for now.
Jackalope’s southern hours are from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and then starting at noon to 2 a.m. Friday through Monday.
