Brentwood Social House, the anticipated neighborhood cafe on West Koenig Lane, is set to open on Monday, November 14. It’ll dole out English and French baked goods like both sweet and savory pies and crepes, quiches, and scones with plenty of coffee. For something green and healthier, salads are on deck. Look out for afternoon tea reservations on Sundays.
The neighborhood cafe is meant for comfort, from sofas, the dedicated quiet room for working, private dining, and a children’s play area a with train set. Get ready for picnic and lounge outdoors on the patio, garden, and lawn.
Co-owner Sarah Olano is Brentwood’s baker, who is from England. Suzanne Daniels, the other co-owner, is the manager who also designed the space. The duo attempted to raise money for a kitchen and equipment through Kickstarter. Nevertheless, the cafe still moved forward.
Once open, Brentwood’s hours are from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and until 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
