— National Geographic sifts through Austin’s current local food enterprises, placing everything in the context of Austin’s wide appeal to the point where the population is growing and home prices are raising, as well as the tech boom. This means looking at outfits like aquaponics farm Agua Dulce, Boggy Creek Farm, and others. Lenoir's Todd Duplechan is quoted, talking about the strong and trusting relationship between chefs and local farms.
— In more brunch news, restaurant/market Delicious is now adding Friday brunch to its lineup, with dishes like apple butter chicken biscuits and toad in the hole French toast. It will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
— In efforts to become more accessible to everyone, Alamo Drafthouse is now hosting what it calls "Alamo For All sensory-friendly screenings."
