— Sunday brunch returns to Foreign & Domestic starting on Sunday, October 3 with a limited menu. The full brunch offerings will be available starting on Sunday, November 6.

— Hill Country Galleria's Cafe Blue expands into downtown Austin with its second location, opening on tomorrow on Tuesday, October 18, bringing seafood and wine with executive chef Ben Nathan. Hours are from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, until 11 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. through 11 p.m. Saturday, and until 10 p.m. on Sunday. Yes, there will be weekend brunch.

— A genius decided to create a sandwich out of Via 313's Detroiter slices with Stiles Switch BBQ's sausages.

— Director Joss Whedon hung out at the Highball over the weekend to debut musician Shawnee Kilgore’s album (he helped write songs).

There's a new Royal Blue Grocery in town on East 6th Street, as part of the Arnold building. It’s the 6th location of the market.

— Paired cafe Mour fully opened its South Austin location last week with breakfast sandwiches, pizza, tacos, and a full-on dinner with lobster, flank steak, and more.
