Owner and chef James Holmes is keeping his South Lamar location in the family. He closed down upscale comfort haven Olivia over the weekend, and and taking its place will be an iteration of his popular mini-chain Lucy’s Fried Chicken, but with dedicated takeout and delivery options, as reported by Austin 360. It’ll be called Lucy’s on the Fly.

This will be Holmes’ fourth Lucy’s Fried Chicken, serving the fried bird and a wider array of sandwiches. New items will include a burger, and no, oysters won't be served. As with the other locations, there will be a full bar, and the garden area will become a playground for kids.

Holmes first opened Olivia in 2008 and it was quickly named as one of the ten best new restaurants by Bon Appetit in 2009. He followed that with Lucy’s Fried Chicken on South Congress in 2011, then the second one on Burnet in 2013, and the third location out along Lake Travis in 2015.
