To get ready for East Side King Thai Kun’s brick and mortar debut in the Domain, chef Thai Changthong is hosting pop-up dinners at homebase Qui this month. Diners can look forward to boat noodles, fermented issan sausage, grilled pork satay, and coconut rice pudding. The dinners will be held from Tuesday, January 12, to Thursday January 14, with two daily seatings at 6:30 and 8 p.m. $70 tickets are available through Tock.

The new space will feature a snazzy revolving neon signage and murals painted by Paul Qui’s go-to artist Peelander Z. East Side King is holding a job fair today and tomorrow, January 7, from 1 to 3 p.m., for the Domain location, which is expected to open this winter.
