Austin Food & Wine Festival 2016 Is Back With New Events and Local Chefs

Austin Food & Wine Festival is back for the fifth time this spring with three new separate events: Social Hour at The Roosevelt Room, a dinner celebrating The Driskill Hotel’s 130th anniversary, and Sunday Gospel Brunch. Dessert event Sips & Sweets isn’t returning.

The festival also announced the full lineup today, which includes recognizable Austin local chefs like Paul Qui, Tyson Cole, Bryce Gilmore, and many more. Taking place from Friday, April 22, to Sunday, April 24, tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, January 20. The price structure includes all-inclusive passes, as well as tickets to the individual nighttime events.

Returning events include the Feast Under the Stars, the five-course dinner prepared by several chefs including David Bull, Tyson Cole, and Janina O’Leary. Then there’s the Taste of Texas and Rock Your Taco. The festival grounds feature Tim Love’s massive grilling demonstrations, the interactive fire pits, and chef showcases.
