— Figlet, the collaborative beer from Jester King Brewery and Franklin Barbecue, is back again, with smoked figs from the barbecue spot’s smokers. 6,000 bottles will be available for sale today, January 15, at 4 p.m. in the Hill Country brewery’s tasting room.

— Austin’s food trends of last year, according to Forbes, include bread, cauliflower, vegetable-based desserts, and fermentation.

— Don’t worry: the Franklin Barbecue line Twitter isn’t gone forever, despite not having Tweeted since October. The person has been away, but will be back before SXSW craziness.

— The Austin-based Favor welcomes newcomer Amazon Now Prime to Austin’s delivery app circle.

— The Braiser’s list of Austin chefs to look out for this includes a lot of old names (Paul Qui, Bryce Gilmore, Rene Ortiz), and some new ones (Kevin Fink, Joshua Thomas).

— Chipotle will shutter all stores nationwide, including Austin, on February 8 to discuss the recent E. coli outbreaks.
