Eater is pleased to announce that Melanie Haupt has joined the team as Eater Austin’s associate editor. Melanie has been a frequent freelance contributor to Eater Austin. Her writing has also appeared in the Chronicle, Serious Eats, and others. She is the author of Historic Austin Restaurants: Capital Cuisine Through the Generations and is currently working on her first novel.
