It’s time again to look ahead to the new restaurants coming to Austin, including sushi, pizza, kava tea expansions, a new hotel eatery, and more.
Downtown
Chain RA Sushi opens its first Austin venture on Monday, October 19, next to Capital Grille on West 4th. Rolls, sashimi, nigiri, lunch specials like bowls and bento boxes, and even brunch with bottomless Bloody Marys and mimosas are in store.

Downtown is also getting yet another hotel, this time from Aloft Hotel. The second Austin branch of the chain, with one already at The Domain, will bring a restaurant and bar to Congress Avenue and 7th Street. The projected opening date for the entire project is summer of 2017.
