Anthony Bourdain, celebrity chef, Parts Unknown host, and pancake bar master, will be a featured speaker during next year’s SXSW as part of SouthBites. He will talk about food and travel with Nathan Thornburgh, the CEO of web publication Roads & Kingdoms, where Bourdain is the editor at large. Voting for SXSW’s PanelPicker, where participants select the panels they’re most interested in, is closed now. Other potential panelists include David Chang, Roy Choi, and Richard Blais.
Bourdain's "Close to the Bone" tour brought him to Austin in July. Bone in the Throat, the film based on his novel of the same name, premiered at SXSW earlier this year.
