MMH Burger Challenge Facts, Stolen Pizza, and More A.M. Intel

— Dan Solomon wrote about his experience completing McGuire Moorman Hospitality’s burger challenge for Texas Monthly. His conclusion: six high-end burgers in a week is way too much. Over on Reddit, it was revealed that the six participating restaurants—Lamberts, Perla’s, Elizabeth Street Cafe, Clark's, Josephine House, and Jeffrey’s—used 4,000 pounds of beef and 1,000 pounds of cheese for burgers last month, and that 1,541 people finished the challenge within a week, all winning the $250 gift cards.

— A man who stole two slices of pizza from Gatti’s was caught literally red-handed because he had sauce on himself.

— The Fault In Our Stars actor/dreamboat Ansel Elgort grabbed a burger from Hopdoddy, according to the Austin burger spot’s Twitter page.

— Expect new food choices during concerts and games at the Cedar Park Center when the venue adds a new vendor this fall, Ryan Sanders Sports Services. The company also operates minor league stadium Dell Diamond.
