Downtown Wine Bar Mulberry Will Shutter For New Concept

It ends with brunch on September 13.

Another shutter announcement before the weekend: underrated downtown wine bar and restaurant Mulberry will close as well. Its last day will be on Sunday, September 13. Fittingly, the final service will be a booze-filled brunch.

The restaurant, which has been open since 2008, will make way for a new concept with current chef Ruston Richardson, formerly of Paggi House, and general manager Karina Lopez. While there is no exact date for the reopening, Lopez told Eater that it would open before the end of the year. In the meantime, Ruston will host pop-ups to tease the new concept.
