Austin Beers Win GABF Awards, Favor Expansion, and More A.M. Intel

— The ABGB’s Rocket 100, Adelbert’s Brewery’s Vintage Monks, (512)’s Wild Bear, and Black Star Co-op’s Recalcitrant Dockhand all won gold medals during the Great American Beer Festival in Denver last weekend. The awards were respectively for the American-style pilsner, Belgian and French-style ale, Brett beer, and robust porter categories.

— Austin-based delivery app Favor is available in College Station starting today. It already covers Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, and San Marcos, along with other states.

— Huffington Post called Austin the "foodiest town," using Jo’s Coffee, Franklin Barbecue, JuiceLand, Clark’s, Lick Ice Cream, and Halcyon as examples.
