Rainey Street bar mogul Bridget Dunlap stretches over to East 6th with her latest pizzeria project, Burn, which opens next week. Update, September 24: On the menu will be Neapolitan-style Roman-style pizza and southern Italian fare, including pasta. Northern Italian dishes will be introduced in the winter. Takeout will be available, too. The space features an open kitchen, farmhouse-style doors, and an intense fiery mural with a wolf on grapes. It will be found near Whisler’s next to the closed Dario’s.

After name (Nuns and Lovers, Ophelia Blue) and concept (Italian, Sardinian and Sicilian) changes, Dunlap and her Dunlap ATX group decided to focus on pizza with her sixth concept. Her other restaurants and bars include Clive, Bar 96, Container Bar, Mettle, and both Lustre Pearls, the original relocated bar on Linden and a new one on Rainey.
