Check Out Bufalina Due’s Brand New Giant Neapolitan Pizza Oven

Bufalina’s expansion to Burnet Road, Bufalina Due, is getting underway with the arrival of its brand new pizza oven from Naples, ready to fire up Neapolitan pies. The Stefano Ferrara oven is a slightly larger version of the one already in the East Cesar Chavez pizzeria. This second location was originally projected to open in December, but owner Steven Dilley said it should open sometime in November.

The new kitchen is larger than the original space, so the regular menu will include some new dishes. Alexandra Manley joined the team as the executive chef of both restaurants in May. Next-door neighbors in the Burnet plaza include Barley Swine after it moves from South Lamar and already-opened Lick Ice Creams.
