The power of the taco cannon is so strong that even South Park picked it up, as pointed out by its creator Fun Fun Fun Fest. In last night’s season 19 premiere about P.C. culture, Cartman demanded his gang "fire the taco launchers." They proceeded to unleash a barrage of unwrapped tacos from three cannons onto a fraternity house. Watch the full clip below.

In the spring, Fun Fun Fun Fest called out other publications for wrongly claiming that Voodoo Taco in Omaha invented the taco cannon. Bill Nye attributed the basis of fun to tacos for the festival’s lineup announcement video in May.
