— There are two Austin icons prominently featured in country music star Kacey Musgraves’ music video for "Are You Sure": Willie Nelson and honky tonk The White Horse.

— The lot behind Austin’s other historic honky tonk Broken Spoke will be developed into a fancy townhouse complex called Laan.

— On the heels of Home Slice’s North Loop expansion, the owners and staff are going on their yearly pizza pilgramage to New York. This means the dine-in spot will be closed from today, Monday, September 14 to Thursday, September 17, but the takeout side will still be open.
