The first weekend of unofficial fall means one thing: football. This Saturday, there’s plenty of tailgating options. Elsewhere throughout the weekend, there’s free custard, cider, a bakery pop-up, beer dinner, and more.

CAMPUS — UT’s first home game is tomorrow, Saturday, September 12 and there are plenty of tailgating options around the city. Hotel Ella’s tailgating series will take place on the lawn from 4 to 7 p.m. There will be a buffet from its restaurant Goodall’s Kitchen, drinks from Deep Eddy Vodka, stadium shuttles for those with tickets to the game, and televisions. There’s also Panda Expressorange chicken food truck. For those who crave Contigo, Tacodeli, Hoover’s, or Stubb’s, can rent spots from Tailgate Guys, which includes catering from those restaurants. Or if you opt to watch from home, order Salt Lick via Favor or grab Fresa’s Chicken al Carbon’s sweet arbor chile glazed chicken wings, only available until October 10. AUSTIN — On the heels of the newest Mast Brothers and Shake Shack chocolate collaboration, the burger chain is giving out free custard scoops with all purchases of the buttermilk chocolate bar on Saturday and Sunday, September 12 and 13. [EaterWire]
