Arro, the French offering from empire-building ELM Group, is expanding with a new patio complete with a dedicated outdoor bar. The addition will take over a portion of the parking lot, where the valet stand previously sat. The 100-seat patio will also introduce new dishes, like oysters and a burger made with sister restaurant Easy Tiger’s bread. The wine list will soon include non-French labels, more draft beer, and liquor.

Other changes include a bright yellow mural created by Xavier Schipani in progress on the Nueces side of the building. The restaurant will close from Sunday, September 13 to Thursday, September 18 for construction. It reopens on Friday, September 19 at 6 p.m.

ELM Group is also working on opening Irene’s, its take on New American, later this year, and Easy Tiger’s second location in 2016.
