Tickets for Texas Monthly's meat-filled barbecue festival go on sale at 10 a.m. today, September 11. General admission is $80 with VIP tickets for $145. Check out Eater's take on the scene last year.

— A judge ruled that shuttered North Austin sports bar Weirdos has to pay more than $1 million to landlord Sharon Ma after owners Jesse Fortney and Cecilia Fortney lost their case earlier this year. The two sued Ma for breach of contract and fraud, and she sued back. Jesse still plans on appealing the case, even though it means they would have to pay additional fines.

— McGuire Moorman’s beverage director and master sommelier June Rodil looking to sell the restaurants.

— Tennis player Andy Roddick discovered the magic of Tacodeli this week.

— With the impending opening of a new pizza place comes the shutter of another: Austin360 was seen dining at her soon-to-be-closed restaurant Bess Bistro with her boyfriend and famous couple Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux last weekend, as seen on Defamer.

— Gardner’s minimalist space was featured in Architectural Record.

— On Wednesday, Serranos Tex-Mex in Lakeline Mall caught on fire. No one was injured, but the building was damaged.
