Both Dai Due and Gardner were named as one of Bon Appétit’s 50 Best New Restaurants of 2015. These nominees will be reduced to a ranked list of ten, which will be released on Tuesday, August 18.

Dai Due, the hyper-local restaurant and butcher shop, made GQ’s list of outstanding restaurants earlier this year, as well as the top of The Chronicle’s personal lists. Gardner, the vegetable-focused project from Contigo, was named Eater Austin’s "So Hot Right Now" restaurant in 2014.

Last year, East Side King’s Thai Kun ranked number eight. Qui and Odd Duck were also among the 50 unranked restaurants.
