Vox Table owner Vincent Manguino is taking over what was going to be David Garrido’s new space in Lamar Union. He will turn it into a modern Mexican restaurant that is set to open in late spring next year. The unnamed restaurant will be found in building two of the complex, which is still under construction. It will be on the corner at 1600 South Lamar, directly across from Cantine.

Garrido recently took over the helm of now-Dine at the Radisson, which was formerly called Chavez under the watch of Parkside Projects and chef Shawn Cirkiel, who left the hotel project in February. Vox Table was the first restaurant to open in the project in April. Neighboring tenants include Alamo Drafthouse, Shake Shack, Cantine, and Caffe Medici.
