New Tasting Menu at Apis; P. Terry’s on Favor

SPICEWOOD — Apis, the Hill Country restaurant and apiary, is replacing its intimate tasting menu with a new 20-course signature one. The $105 meal ranges from oysters, wagyu beef crudo and lamb to raw milk gelato. For the kitchen cocktail that is part of the menu, diners get to watch the chef prepare the drinks using liquid nitrogen. [EaterWire]

DELIVERYWIRE — Austin-based delivery app Favor added P. Terry's to its list of restaurant partners. In honor of this, delivery fees from P. Terry's orders will be discounted to $2 until Friday, August 21. [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWN — Qui's Jorge Luis Hernandez is taking the helm of Counter 3. Five. VII's next 15-course dinner on Monday, August 31. The $180 menu ($300 with beverage pairings) includes hay smoked king salmon, Peruvian purple potatoes, and chicken larb. [EaterWire]

EAST SIDERecently married Andrew Wiseheart is serving as Tour de Vin’s honorary chair for the Wine and Food Foundation of Texas fundraiser at the Fair Market on Thursday, September 17. Other announced chefs include Juliet's Jacob Weaver, Bribery Bakery's Jodi Elliott, Kin and Comfort's Ek Timrerk, and Vox Table's Joe Anguiano.
