— The Alamo Drafthouse and Moontower Saloon are being sued by a family for allegedly over-serving a woman on June 19.  Robert and Benjamin Barton, father and son, said that Victoria Garcia crashed into their car while driving in the wrong lane on Ben White Boulevard, after which she passed away, and the Bartons were injured. The TABC said they will look through the Slaughter Lane theater and South Austin bar’s receipts, security footage, as well as talk to employees to determine if the accusation is true.

— Olamaie is taking a short vacation starting on Tuesday, August 18 until Tuesday, August 25.

— Nutty Brown Cafe and Amphitheatre will move to Round Rock in 2017. Owner Mike Farr bought McNeil Park as the cafe’s new location.

— The sale of Z’Tejas to Cornbread Ventures after the Southwestern chain declared bankruptcy last month went through. The new group includes the people within the Iron Cactus chain.
